![]() I've only played City, Knight, and some of Asylum so far (not that it's a bad game, but Asylum didn't do anything for me, and I've heard Origins isn't that good of a game). Honestly, I didn't like how Knight's ending limited options to continue the series though. The quote from Sefton Hill on the Knightfall Protocol page practically confirms it by stating that he "finds a way out." I think it's unquestionable that Bruce and Alfred survived and the Nightmare Batman is Bruce. Other evidence pointing towards Bruce are his comments to Catwoman about Gotham needing a "new myth" more powerful than he can be "right now," as well as Red Hood's bio stating that he is working with Batman post-Knight. Knight is nine months after City, meaning that the oldest Damian could be is five, unless he were biologically engineered upward in age like his Heretic comic-counterpart, but that's unlikely, as Damian has not been introduced or even hinted at in the series). That is the earliest possible point of conception. ![]() It can't be Damian, as we don't even know if he exists in the Arkhamverse, and even if he did, he would be too young (According to Batman: Arkham Unhinged, Bruce and Talia met five years prior to Arkham City. Azrael doesn't work either, as both endings to his Most Wanted endings leave him with different intentions than becoming Batman. ![]() We know it's not Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, or Tim Drake, as we see them using different identities post-Arkham Knight in the DLCs. All other possible characters have too many discrepencies to work. Most likely, the Nightmare Batman is Bruce Wayne, having faked his and Alfred's deaths. ![]()
